Core objects glossary
The objects you will encounter across GraphQL, MCP, and the partner REST API.
Objects
| Object | Meaning |
|---|---|
Client | A tax workspace containing settings, accounts, ledger data, and reports. |
User | A person with access to a client. In embedded flows, your referenceId identifies the end user. |
Account | A wallet, exchange, file, or integration that supplies activity. |
Transaction | Normalized ledger activity such as a trade, income event, fee, or transfer. |
Transfer | A relationship between outgoing and incoming activity, often across owned accounts. |
Label | User-defined classification applied to one or more transactions. |
Report | An asynchronously generated tax export or forms bundle. |
Account Sync | An import job for one or more accounts. |
Recalculate Job | An asynchronous rebuild of the tax ledger after data changes. |
