Awaken Security Practices

Awaken is built by seasoned software engineers who’ve securely scaled systems to millions of users before 📈.

Besides that, we use the best practices industry wide including:

• Encryption of all at rest data (AES-256, bank-grade encryption)

• Using SOC II cloud providers and fire walling all data within VPCs

• Tight data permissions

We are also SOC II compliant 🎉, which is just a badge that checks off that we are doing all the security stuff we say we do :). SOC II is one of the highest security standards a software company can attain.

You can also keep your own account secure by enabled 2FA on our Settings page in Awaken. You can choose between SMS or TOTP (via apps like Authy) 2FA. We highly recommend doing this.

Awaken also never has write access to any of your exchanges or wallets. We only maintain read-only access, which means your crypto is safe and only yours at all times. We will NEVER ask for your private keys.
